Strike Free
Strike-free is designed to assist children to be more focused, confident, and capable in everyday life, using martial arts as a practical and engaging pathway to long term personal development.
Strikefree is a structured children’s development program that uses martial arts as the delivery system for life skills education. The focus is not on fighting ability as an end goal, but on building capable, self-regulated, and socially aware young people through guided physical experiences.
The program develops core attributes such as focus, emotional control, confidence, respect, and decision making by placing children in progressively challenging, game based environments. Rather than memorising techniques in isolation, participants learn to solve problems, adapt to changing situations, and manage pressure. This approach strengthens both cognitive and physical skills simultaneously.
A key component of Strikefree is the emphasis on real world application. Children are taught awareness, boundary setting, and safe responses to conflict, with a strong priority on avoidance, de-escalation, and escape. Physical skills are framed as tools within a broader context of personal safety and responsibility.
Leadership and character development are embedded throughout the program. Students are encouraged to take ownership of their behaviour, support training partners, and demonstrate resilience when facing difficulty.
